Heart of the Season: We’re Rocking!

We are officially in the heart of the season, and the mountain has never looked better. The slopes are in prime condition, and our "Chalet Glow-Up" is in full effect.

If you haven’t seen the new furniture and our brand-new “Bluebird Room,” this is the perfect weekend to cozy up in the Upper Chalet. Whether you’re warming up between runs or just here for the vibe, the new layout offers the perfect spot to enjoy everything Little Switzerland has to offer.

MLK Weekend: Snow & Style

Martin Luther King Jr. Day usually marks our halfway point, and the timing couldn't be better. We have snow in the forecast for Friday night and Saturday, which means we’ll have stellar conditions across the entire hill.

Our fireside MARKET Concert Series has been legendary this year, and this Saturday (Jan 24), we have a great trio coming in to cozy up to and enjoy!

Listening Party is one of Wisconsin’s standout folk-rock trios, known for their warm harmonies, textured acoustic sound, and heartfelt songwriting. Their performances feel rich and cinematic while still easygoing and approachable — an excellent match for both casual listeners and music lovers alike.

The End of an Era: Lift 1-2 is Retiring!

As some may have noticed, our 1-2 chair had a mechanical hiccup this past Wednesday. While our team handled it and it's back up and running, it certainly reminded us why we are so excited for the future.

This summer, we are officially retiring the oldest "up and over" lift in the state. In its place, we are installing two new Skytrac Quad chairlifts! This $4 million project starts the moment the snow melts this spring.

Look for more details on this in the next few days and we'll keep you apprised of all the construction details in a timeline blog as the work gets done!

Plenty more fun to be had!

See you on the slopes or in the chalet—there is still plenty of winter fun to be had at Little Switz!
I personally am looking forward to all the sweet events and races happening in the near future.  Say hello or make some turns with me, I'm always out there and am enjoying every second of this piece of winter paradise.
